Richard started selling affordable, quality vehicles at his family dealership well over 50 years ago! His father Nicholas, originally started the business on the West Side of Buffalo, NY over 70+ years ago and Richard certainly learned from the best. Over the years, the family business has sold multiple makes as a franchise dealership and later transitioned into a family owned independent dealer! Richard always believed that customers needs are the most important aspect and he enjoyed the automotive business very much. His two sons, Rick and Nick along with several family members and staff are carrying on the tradition and are here to assist you with all of your vehicle needs.
Richard was also a graduate from the Class of 1949 from Canisius High School and an alumnae from Canisius College 1953. He was a people person who loved to mingle and spend quality time with his family and friends. Richard will always be loved and missed by the entire Superior family!

Superior Auto Sales is our family business I grew up with. My Family has been selling cars for over 79 years. We sell quality vehicles at low prices. I grew up in Hamburg, NY and I'm a proud alumnae of St. Francis High School's Class of 1979. Many customers tell me we have the nicest cars around and that's a compliment I never get tired of hearing. Every vehicle is handpicked, so we always have a wide arrangement of vehicles that our customers have come to expect. Our vehicles have that "WOW" factor. Each vehicle is professionally detailed and serviced to meet the quality level "Superior". I am also a fan of the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres. Izzo has been a sales consultant for thirteen years in the auto industry where he has gained valuable experience assisting many customers in the multi brand pre-owned and new car departments for Ford, Infiniti and Nissan. Richard has been assisting his father to hand pick the quality used vehicles that customers just can’t find everywhere else. Having worked for other dealerships, Richard really appreciates the diversity of Superior Auto Sales' unique inventory, the low pressure sales atmosphere and great prices. Rich enjoyed growing up in Hamburg and graduated from Bishop Timon/St. Jude High School, Class of 2003. Mary Izzo has been employed at Superior Auto Sales for over 20 years. She brings her past career experience in radio & TV to develop the Superior Auto Sales brand for The Izzo family who has been in the automotive business for 79 years. She plans, develops and implements their brand advertising in the media and internet. A highlight to working for her family owned and operated dealership is keeping their social media accounts relevant and interesting. Mary is married to Richard J. Izzo, President of Superior Auto Sales and they have a daughter Trisha Izzo. Mary's interests include photography, cooking, working out, gardening, travel and meeting such wonderful customers over the years.

Sarah is the glue that holds everything together at Superior, as she handles the majority of the tasks and behind the scenes work required to run a successful dealership. Her years of experience and vast knowledge regarding items such as DOT/DMV regulations, title and ownership transfers and proper paperwork and procedures is unmatched, as she wears many hats on a daily basis. Her expertise with importing, exporting, transporting, stocking and flooring vehicles is second to none and she works directly with our customers to ensure that everyone is on the same page. When it comes to attention to detail and dotting the i's and crossing the t's, Sarah is always on top of things and is a true asset to the company.
In her free time, she loves baking as her multitude of skills also transfer over to the kitchen. Her co-workers always look forward to the delicious treats that she often brings in to share with everyone!
